Win Remes petition

OK, it’s not the first time. Back in 2009 I mentioned Seth Hardy’s petition to have his named added to the (ISC)2 Board of Directors election ballot. The process is crazy, requiring an endorsement from the current board or a lot of signatures just to have the right to include the name on the ballot. Now it’s Win Remes’ time, and I really hope it works. I’m not one of those very vocal critics of (ISC)2, as I also work with the entity on developing the ISSAP exam, but I really think some fresh air from the community would benefit the certification value. His suggestion to add a paper requirement to the CISSP would really make it more than just a bunch of multiple choice questions, easy to anyone with good test taking skills.
